Azure Infrastructure Lead

Skills: Azure Cloud migration tools, such as Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery (ASR), and Database Migration Service (DMS).

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform hands-on migration of workloads, including servers, databases, applications, and data to Azure Cloud.
• Ensure minimal downtime and disruption during migration activities.
• Participate in application and infrastructure discovery processes, creating detailed migration plans.
• Perform readiness assessments, gap analysis, and dependency mapping for workloads.
• Develop automation scripts and templates for repeatable migration tasks to enhance efficiency.
• Implement migration orchestration pipelines in alignment with factory-based migration models.
• Resolve complex technical issues during migrations, including connectivity, performance, and application compatibility challenges.
• Provide technical expertise to address real-time roadblocks.
• Work closely with architects, project managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure successful migrations.
• Perform validation and testing of workloads post-migration to ensure functionality and performance.
• Provide knowledge transfer to operational teams for ongoing management of the migrated environment.

Primary Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud migration tools, such as Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery (ASR), and Database Migration Service (DMS).
• Proficiency in Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and App Services.
• Expertise in workload migration techniques, including rehosting (lift-and-shift), replatforming, and application modernization.
• Strong skills in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Experience in automating migration processes and workflows using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or scripting languages.
• Deep understanding of network configurations, hybrid connectivity, and cloud governance frameworks.
