Job Overview:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Manager - Project Development at Dubai Holding Hospitality. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

• Prepare initial Request for Proposals (RFP’s) for design consultants as required for the particular project.
• Draft project development briefs for review and approval by various development stakeholders.
• Prepare documentation in accordance with the organization’s governance workflows and DOA.
• Provide early warnings of possible variations / additional expenditure requirements.
• Attend all relevant design meetings and record / maintain Minutes of Meeting.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders as necessary to ensure development progress is maintained.
• Review and attend offsite manufacturing progress against approved design and material submittals as necessary.
• Monitor offsite manufacturing process through the supervision consultants to confirm necessary submittals, mock-ups and prototypes inspections and approvals are obtained in accordance with the project requirements.
• Follow up on open or unresolved items raised by the consultants (RFI’s) with the responsible party to ensure the project is not unnecessarily delayed.
• Monitor the project expenditure to ensure it is aligned with the agreed and approved project budge

About you:

The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials.

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in construction related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the hospitality or construction industry
• Focused on project delivery, preferably within a top tier developer international project management firm with specific experience on luxury hospitality.
• Establish and maintain relationships with project stakeholders from operational teams, consultants, contractors, authorities and those with project influence. Proactively engaging to foster effective communication.
• Project Management: Able to implement Project management processes, Property and asset development tools and techniques throughout the project lifecycle.
• Able to manage and advise on quality control procedures on site to achieve an exemplary product.
