Senior Business Analyst/Project Manager - Payment Systems

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Snr. Business Analyst/Project Manager who will be responsible for the development and maintenance of core banking and cash management applications and projects for an esteemed bank.

Mandatory Skill-set:

• Must have 6+ years of experience as a Snr Business Analyst/Project Manager in core banking and payment systems;
• Must have strong knowledge of payment standards: ISO20022, SEPA (SCT, SDD, Instant SCT), and SWIFT formats (MT940, MT942, MT900, MT910);
• Must have experience with payment infrastructures such as Payments Hub, ACH, RTGS, Clearing & Settlement, and bulk payment solutions;
• Hands-on expertise in managing projects, ensure delivery, UAT, functional, and integration testing for banking/payment systems;
• Familiarity with payment reports and formats such as CAMT52/53/54, Pain.002;
• Proficiency in testing tools like ALM/QC, JIRA, and test automation using Cucumber;
• Working knowledge of Kafka, Elasticsearch, JanusGraph, and Kibana for data monitoring and visualization;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Skill-set:

• Exposure to Retail, Wholesale, and Corporate Banking;
• Experience with international and domestic payment systems, payment factories, and correspondent banking;
• Understanding of Compliance/AML processes, Cash & Liquidity Management, FX, and Trade Finance;

Responsibilities:

• Gather and validate functional requirements from stakeholders such as Product, Operations, Finance, and Client Services, and translate them into clear specifications (BRD, FSD);
• Work closely with stakeholders across business units and technology teams to ensure alignment on project objectives, deliverables, and timelines;
• Collaborate closely with developers, operations, solution architects, and business users to ensure alignment on requirements and solutions;
• Led, manage and execute functional, integration, and regression test scenarios for core banking and payment systems; support SIT and UAT phases;
• Support user training, product documentation, and vendor integration activities;
• Identify project risks, coordinate issue resolution, and maintain clear communication through stakeholder meetings and regular status reporting.
