Senior iOS Engineer

London - Hybrid (1 day per week)

With existing products generating millions in revenue and new, innovative projects on the horizon, this is a rare opportunity for a driven, product-focused Senior iOS Engineer to help shape a rapidly scaling business from the inside out.

We're looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join a high-performing, cross-functional team. You'll play a pivotal role in architecting and building exceptional Swift-based iOS applications used by millions. This is a hands-on role with strategic influence-perfect for an engineer passionate about performance, clean architecture, and pushing the boundaries of mobile innovation.

• Architect, build, and maintain high-quality, scalable iOS applications using Swift

• Lead architectural decisions with a focus on performance, fault tolerance, and user experience

• Take ownership of features end-to-end: design, implement, test, release, and monitor

• Mentor and support engineers through code reviews, architecture sessions, and technical guidance

• Work closely with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering in a collaborative agile environment

• Drive continuous improvement in code quality, testing, and team workflows

• Stay ahead of the curve on iOS trends, tools, and best practices, particularly around SwiftUI, Combine, and new iOS features

• Champion the use of AI and automation tools to optimise development efficiency and quality
  
  

• 6+ years of professional experience building iOS applications in Swift

• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable mobile app development

• Proven experience delivering complex apps using SwiftUI, Combine, and modern iOS frameworks

• Familiar with building performant, user-centric apps that integrate seamlessly with backend services

• Experience developing developer-friendly SDKs or modular app components is a plus

• Excellent communication skills and a strong focus on collaboration and user impact

• Interest or experience in telematics or insurance/fintech is a bonus

• Enthusiastic about leveraging AI to automate, innovate, and streamline engineering workflows
