Role Overview

Mapon is seeking a skilled Product Designer with 3+ years of experience to join our design team. You will play a key role in shaping the user experience and interface of our IoT fleet management platform. This position requires a deep understanding of user-centered design and the ability to create intuitive, scalable, and visually compelling digital products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including product owners, UX researchers, and developers—to deliver impactful solutions that meet both user and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design intuitive, user-centric solutions for the Mapon IoT fleet management platform
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand product goals and translate them into effective UX/UI designs
  • Conduct user behavior analysis and usability testing to identify pain points and improvement opportunities
  • Define success metrics in collaboration with product owners, UX researchers, and data teams
  • Develop wireframes, user flows, journey maps, and high-/low-fidelity prototypes
  • Ensure design consistency by adhering to brand and UI standards and maintaining the design system in Figma
  • Present design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback iteratively
  • Support and oversee user testing sessions and translate insights into actionable improvements

Requirements

  • Residence in Europe (Mapon has offices in Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, and Spain)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in UX/UI design, with a portfolio demonstrating work on web and mobile applications
  • Proven experience designing SaaS products
  • Proficiency in Figma, including design system creation and maintenance
  • Strong grasp of responsive design, user-centered methodologies, and interaction design
  • Experience in user research, usability testing, and data-informed design iteration
  • Experience using AI-powered tools to create design workflows, such as for ideation, prototyping, user research analysis, or content generation
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills; experience in an English-speaking work environment is preferred
  • Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
