ABOUT THE ROLE

• Develop and maintain web applications using Python frameworks (FastAPI, Flask).
• Design and optimise database schemas and queries (SQL and Snowflake).
• Containerise applications with Docker and deploy using Kubernetes.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and uphold DevOps best practices.
• Write tests and participate in code reviews to ensure quality.

ABOUT THE PERSON

• Strong Python backend development experience.
• Proficient in React or Vue.js for front-end development.
• Skilled with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Snowflake.
• Experienced with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Familiar with CI/CD tools and DevOps workflows.
• Self-driven with leadership skills and ability to manage projects independently.

OTHER DETAILS

• Location: Hybrid - 3 days a week on-site in Cork.
• Contract: 11.5-month duration.
• Strong salary/rate on offer due to contract nature
