Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Program Manager to lead and ensure the successful delivery of their data center (DC) projects. The ideal candidate will bring a strong reputation within the industry, developed through a proven track record of managing complex, high-profile projects in collaboration with clients and partners. This individual will oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with customer expectations while fostering long-term stakeholder relationships. Additionally, they will be expected to leverage their industry standing to build trust and credibility with customers, partners, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Strategy
- Lead and manage end-to-end DC programs from initiation through completion, overseeing scope, budget, timeline, and quality.
- Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with technical requirements and business objectives.
- Work closely with senior leadership to align program goals and manage stakeholder expectations across cross-functional teams.
Project Planning & Execution
- Define clear program goals, KPIs, deliverables, and success metrics for multiple concurrent DC initiatives.
- Oversee the creation and execution of detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Direct and coordinate cross-functional project teams (Engineering, Construction, IT, Facilities) to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
Customer Relationship Management
- Serve as the main point of contact for key customers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements to ensure project outcomes meet their expectations.
- Communicate progress, risks, and milestones proactively to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Partner with sales and solution teams to support customer satisfaction and address concerns promptly.
- Manage escalations and ensure resolution of issues with a high degree of professionalism and service.
Industry Reputation & Stakeholder Engagement
- Leverage your industry reputation to build confidence with clients, vendors, and partners.
- Establish strong relationships with external stakeholders (vendors, consultants, contractors) to drive project success.
- Represent our client at industry events, forums, and discussions to stay ahead of trends and promote best practices.
- Use external networks to influence project outcomes and promote operational excellence.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate internal stakeholders (engineering, operations, procurement, supply chain) and external partners to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and scope changes to all relevant parties.
- Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams to ensure smooth communication and execution.
Risk Management & Issue Resolution
- Proactively identify and address risks, obstacles, and dependencies that may impact delivery.
- Lead issue resolution efforts to minimize disruption and maintain progress toward milestones.
- Ensure adherence to all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Budget and Resource Management
- Manage program budgets, ensuring financial performance stays within approved limits.
- Monitor cost forecasting, track variances, and provide financial reporting.
- Oversee workforce planning and resource allocation to meet key project milestones.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Continuously assess program health, including KPIs, timelines, and quality metrics.
- Provide consistent reporting and insights to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
- Document lessons learned and apply continuous improvement practices to future programs.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant field, ideally Electrical Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in project/program management within data center environments.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
- Data center certifications (e.g., CDCP, CDCE, Uptime) are a plus.
- Deep technical knowledge of data center infrastructure, operations, and industry best practices.
