PHP / WordPress Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented PHP & WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in developing custom WordPress themes and plugins, as well as a deep understanding of PHP.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing new features, ensuring high performance and availability of websites, and managing all technical aspects of WordPress. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Write clean, well-structured PHP code to implement website functionalities.
• Collaborate with designers, UX/UI specialists, and back-end developers to enhance user experience.
• Optimize website performance, including load times and security measures.
• Ensure responsive design across various devices and browsers.
• Work with MySQL databases to integrate and manage site data.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and implement solutions for technical issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies, particularly WordPress updates and PHP best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a PHP Developer with expertise in WordPress.
• Strong knowledge of PHP and object-oriented programming principles.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (such as React or Vue.js) is a plus.
• Familiarity with WordPress APIs, hooks, and custom post types.
• Knowledge of WooCommerce is advantageous.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of SEO best practices and website optimization.
• Familiarity with server management and deployment tools such as Docker or Localstack.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
