Client Service Control - Support Analyst

The team
The Client Service Control team is part of the Schroder Investment Management (Europe) S.A. (“SIM EU”) Client Service department in Luxembourg.
The Client Service Control team generates Management Information (MI) and detailed reports for management and the board, enabling informed decision-making. The team also manages the SIM EU Marketing Committee and ensures the oversight of segregated mandates. The team administers the applications used by the department, driving operational excellence and ongoing improvement. The team collaborates with the Client Service Management and AML/KYC/KYD colleagues to ensure successful delivery of the deliverables.
The team is also responsible for the life cycle of French FCPs and discretionary portfolio management mandates signed with SIM EU.
Key Responsibilities Of The Team Include
Data collation and dashboard production: Collecting and analysing data to create monthly management information (MI) dashboards to provide visibility on performance metrics and risks.
Reporting: Preparing detailed reports for the Management Committee and Boards. Performing the oversight of all reports sent to institutional investors having a mandate with SIM EU.
Marketing Committee management: Managing all aspects of SIM EU Marketing Committee meetings, including preparation and administrative tasks (organisation of the meeting agenda, preparation of minutes, logging of approvals etc).
Support and oversight of segregated mandates and French FCPs: Assist with RFPs/tenders, onboardings tasks and obtain relevant sign-offs and signatures. For live mandates and FCPs, lead in the oversight role of the team and communicate any mandate changes or terminations to SIM EU stakeholders, ensuring follow-up until completion. Assist with client queries and reporting. Prepare relevant data and KPIs for reporting to management, coordinate with other departments to ensure regulatory reports and completed.
System and application administration: Administering the systems and applications used within the department.
Optimisation: Exploring better methods and technologies, including the use of artificial intelligence, to enhance processes and improve service delivery.
The Role And What You Will Do
You will support the business to assess and implement new digital tools; Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, PowerBI, PowerAutomate), Service now, etc. You will lead efforts to streamline departmental processes, optimize client service delivery, and build data-driven insights using automation and analytics tools.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in finance and regulatory frameworks, coupled with a passion for digital innovation. You will act as an internal consultant and business process optimisation expert by automating workflows, building sophisticated reporting framework, and delivering scalable and ready to use tools powered by Microsoft Power Platform and Generative AI.

Key Responsibilities
- Business Process Optimization
- Identify, analyse, and re-engineer inefficient operational and client servicing processes using Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Develop scalable solutions that reduce manual tasks, shorten delivery cycles, and align with business priorities.
- Collaborate with business leads to create tailored workflows addressing regulatory and distribution needs.
- Data Analytics & Reporting Automation
- Build and update interactive dashboards in Power BI for visualizing fund flows, client onboarding metrics, and performance indicators.
- Integrate multiple data sources (e.g. SharePoint, Excel, internal databases) to offer real-time insight to internal collaborators.
- Automate the production of MI reports and board papers to ensure consistent and timely reporting for management and committees.
- AI Integration & Enablement
- Leverage in-house Generative AI systems to develop task-specific GPTs (Agents) that support different business units (e.g. RFP automation, regulatory summaries, document drafting).
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to upskill teams on AI adoption and digital productivity tools.
- Governance & Committee Support
- Contribute to the creation of committee packs and provide data inputs for governance reporting (Marketing Committee, Management Committee, Board meetings) and drafting meeting minutes with Gen AI assistance.
- Maintain records of approvals, actions, and decisions using digital documentation tools integrated with SharePoint and Power Platform.
- A degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Finance, Business Analytics or Business Administration, ideally with a focus on digital transformation, financial analytics, or operations management.
- Professional certifications in finance, data analytics or project management are considered a plus.
- Consistent track record of delivering automation and operational transformation initiatives, with an emphasis on scalability, accuracy, and business impact.
- Fluent English
- Proficient in Microsoft Power Platform: Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps
- Experienced in Generative AI (OpenAI GPTs) and prompt engineering for enterprise use cases
- Strong skills in Excel (Advanced, including VBA) and other Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with financial regulatory processes and client lifecycle data
- Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to bridge business and technology teams
- Experience in business consulting or finance transformation within global or cross-border financial services firms.
- Inquisitive and analytical individual dedicated to ongoing improvement and innovation
- Able to handle multiple priorities, work independently, and consistently meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
