Role Overview:

We are looking for an AI Agent Developer to join a leading energy company in Portugal where innovation, sustainability, and excellence are the pillars of their success. What you will do:

• Design and implement AI agents based on Large Language Models (LLMs), with capabilities for reasoning, context integration, and action planning;
• Define and structure multi-intent agents integrated across different EDP domains (e.g., internal support, data analysis, task automation);
• Identify high-impact use cases and support their prioritization with business teams;
• Develop integrations between AI agents and legacy systems (SAP, CRM, data platforms, etc.);
• Collaborate with architecture teams to define a governance framework for intelligent agents;
• Contribute to the experimentation and adoption of new technologies (LLMOps, RAG, fine-tuning, etc.)

What you are like:

• Hands-on experience developing LLM-based solutions (e.g., OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral);
• Solid knowledge of agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, etc.);
• Experience with integration pipelines involving REST APIs, cloud services, and databases;
• Familiarity with concepts like Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, data vectorization, and semantic repositories;
• Strong Python skills and experience with ML/AI frameworks;
• Experience with cloud environments (Azure, GCP, or AWS), with a focus on MLOps and/or LLMOps;
• Bonus: Experience with automation platforms (Power Platform, UiPath, etc.) and integration with SAP systems;
• Understanding of security, ethics, and privacy principles in AI (e.g., explainability, AI governance).
