Tasks

Design and develop data products that deliver operational and business value
Build robust, cloud-based data pipelines that convert raw data into curated, business-relevant datasets
Develop dashboard cockpits that consolidate KPIs and critical data to support strategic and operational decisions
Analyze aircraft and maintenance data to uncover predictive maintenance opportunities and build corresponding models
Collaborate cross-functionally, sharing knowledge and supporting other teams on their data challenges
Drive innovation and foster a data-driven culture throughout the department
Communicate complex analytical insights in clear, business-relevant terms across all organizational levels
Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline manual processes

Requirements

Master's degree in Data Science, Physics, or related field
Strong analytical skills with proven experience in building data pipelines and dashboards
Proficiency in programming (Python, SQL)
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
Solid understanding and practical experience with cloud (Google Cloud, Azure), incl. data architecture and CI/CD
Familiarity with Terraform is advantageous
Excellent communication skills, ability to convey complex technical topics in clear, business-relevant language
A proactive self-starter who thrives working in complex, evolving environments
Collaborative, solution-oriented, growth-minded
Fluent in English; German is a plus
Experience in agile teams (Scrum, Kanban) is a plus
Knowledge of airline/aircraft industry is advantageous
