Tasks

  • Design and develop data products that deliver operational and business value
  • Build robust, cloud-based data pipelines that convert raw data into curated, business-relevant datasets
  • Develop dashboard cockpits that consolidate KPIs and critical data to support strategic and operational decisions
  • Analyze aircraft and maintenance data to uncover predictive maintenance opportunities and build corresponding models
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, sharing knowledge and supporting other teams on their data challenges
  • Drive innovation and foster a data-driven culture throughout the department
  • Communicate complex analytical insights in clear, business-relevant terms across all organizational levels
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline manual processes

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Data Science, Physics, or related field
  • Strong analytical skills with proven experience in building data pipelines and dashboards
  • Proficiency in programming (Python, SQL)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
  • Solid understanding and practical experience with cloud (Google Cloud, Azure), incl. data architecture and CI/CD
  • Familiarity with Terraform is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to convey complex technical topics in clear, business-relevant language
  • A proactive self-starter who thrives working in complex, evolving environments
  • Collaborative, solution-oriented, growth-minded
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus
  • Experience in agile teams (Scrum, Kanban) is a plus
  • Knowledge of airline/aircraft industry is advantageous
