🚀 We’re Hiring: Senior Database Engineer

What You'll Do:

Will work with other Database Administrators and IT teams to ensure that Mongo DB and Postgresql databases maintenance tasks are performed as described as following;

• Monitor performance of database systems resources and query throughput,
• Optimize SQL Code as necessary,
• Configure Mongodb replica set and sharded clusters as per the application requirement,
• Should have designed, installed & configured multi node MongoDB sharded cluster & replica sets on Linux Platforms,
• Deploying, migrating data, monitoring, analyzing and tuning MongoDB, Postgresql,
• Monitor and maintain database storage resources,
• Monitor and maintain database maintenance plans for backups, index rebuild/defragment, and database statistics,
• Install database software service packs and cumulative updates as necessary,
• Maintain database documentation as required,
• Maintain and administer database security access,
• Perform database Ad-hoc backups and restores,
• Trouble shoot and resolve database connectivity issues,
• Follow change management processes to implement database configuration changes,
• Follow problem management processes to troubleshoot and resolve recurring issues,
• Proactively monitor and respond to MS Sql Server, MongoDB and Postgresql database Alerts,
• On-call requirements to ensure 24 x 7 support of database operations.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor's Degree (BS/BA) or equivelant combination of education and experience,
• At least 5 years experience as a database administrator in MS Sql Server environment, MongoDB and Postgresql,
• 2 years experience in Transact SQL, DTS, SSIS package development,
• At least 3 years experience in Linux,
• Experience of administering PosgreSQL environments,
• Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory and disk configurations.
