Senior QA Engineer (Front-End)

We're seeking a Senior QA specialist to join our testing team. Front-End team works with automating the testing of game engine interfaces. As part of our work, we create and support a unique framework for UI automation, which helps develop and optimize game scenarios. Our goal is to automate 3,000+ test cases to speed up work processes and improve their quality. Our work is closely related to low-level interaction with the game engine, which requires a deep understanding of the stable and efficient operation of interfaces.

Tasks

• Participating in the testing of a large-scale product—a Unity-like engine and editor;
• Testing in your area of responsibility;
• Constructing and supporting a test model;
• Test analysis of new features;
• Creating test cases using various test design techniques;
• Preparing bug reports, localizing defects;
• Participate in improving product quality and testing automation processes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in testing;
• Experience in testing complex systems with a high amount of functionality (tools without UI, IDE, game engines, backend of complex desktop applications, embedded systems software);
• Experience in automation in Python or Kotlin/Java/C# (but ready to switch to Python);
• Ability to apply test design techniques;
• Knowledge of test types and their application methods;
• Ability to draw up test plans, checklists, and test cases;
• Understanding of software architecture;
• Experience with TMS and Git;
• Experience analyzing the information necessary to effectively cover functionality with test cases;
• Experience working in agile teams.
