  • Solid understanding of modern engineering practices such as CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and DevOps workflows.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; additional certifications in relevant technologies are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of frontend solutions using React, Next.js, Node.js, and Azure, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Drive the technical vision and architecture of frontend projects, aligning with overall product and business goals.
  • Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver seamless and engaging user experiences.
  • Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment, including TDD, code reviews, and automated pipelines.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential integration into current and future projects.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, contribute to sprint planning, and ensure timely delivery of features and updates.
  • Contribute to documentation, technical standards, and knowledge sharing within the team.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of 64,000 to 73,000 GBP plus allowances and pension contributions.
  • Generous paid annual leave entitlement of 30 days, in addition to public holidays.
  • Flexible hybrid working model, requiring 1-2 days per week onsite in South Wales.
  • Opportunities for professional growth through training, mentoring, and career progression pathways.
  • Engagement in modern technology stacks, including cloud-native development, CI/CD, and AI/ML exploration.
  • Supportive leadership and a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation and excellence.
  • Comprehensive benefits package aimed at promoting work/life balance and employee well-being.
