My client is an innovative Berlin-based startup in the HealthTech industry dedicated to transforming the landscape of speech therapy. Their 10 locations across Germany are continually expanding to meet the growing demand for speech therapy services. Their dynamic product and tech team, based at their Berlin headquarters, is focused on creating cutting-edge software solutions that advance digital transformation in healthcare and support our practices nationwide.

They are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Engineer to collaborate with theirHead of Product to enhance the patient and therapist experience in speech therapy.

Your Role

As a versatile Full-Stack Engineer, you will contribute your expertise in both frontend and backend development to drive the execution of various web and software projects. You will oversee the technical implementation of solutions from initial concept through to deployment, playing a crucial role in shaping their architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Make independent architectural decisions and develop software solutions that address both backend and frontend needs, based on product requirements.
• Develop and maintain their Progressive Web App (PWA) using Next.js (React) and TypeScript.
• Design and manage their internal database structure.
• Integrate external APIs to ensure seamless communication with their systems.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Product to define requirements for external partners and support the internal development team.
• Ensure the technical quality of their solutions through rigorous testing.
• Optimize their applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Full-Stack Engineer.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and database design.
• Extensive experience with Next.js (React), TypeScript, and modern front-end technologies.
• Experience in API integration.
• Proficient in written and spoken German.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.
• Bonus: Experience in the HealthTech sector, particularly with German data protection regulations.
