Job Title: IT Security Officer

Location: South Dublin (Hybrid / On-site)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

As an IT Security Officer, you will play a key role in protecting systems, networks, and data. You’ll work alongside a dedicated security team to design and implement robust cybersecurity solutions, support incident response efforts, and help drive security awareness across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and monitor cybersecurity controls across systems and networks
• Develop technical solutions and tools to prevent security breaches
• Define system security requirements and create detailed technical designs
• Lead and support incident response efforts and risk mitigation strategies
• Deliver security awareness training and presentations to staff and leadership
• Maintain documentation, reports, and compliance with internal and external audits
• Contribute to regulatory and standards compliance efforts (e.g., ISO27001, DORA)

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• CISSP, CISM, or similar cybersecurity certification
• Experience with Azure/Microsoft 365 security tools and configurations
• Strong background in security engineering or information security architecture
• Knowledge of email security, DLP, data classification, and scripting (Windows)
• Familiarity with PCI, EIOPA, and DORA compliance frameworks
• Experience working with third-party managed infrastructure providers
• Strong understanding of network protocols, operating system security, and cloud environments
