As an Embedded Software Engineer, you'll be working with talented automotive software developers, System Designers, Function Owners, and Test Engineers. This role focuses on coding and testing software for automotive systems, leveraging your expertise in C/C++ to ensure high-quality, reliable embedded solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement embedded software in C/C++ for automotive applications.
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate solutions seamlessly within vehicle systems.
- Perform software testing, debugging, and optimization on target hardware.
- Contribute to system design and functionality discussions to ensure high-quality, robust solutions.
- Document software specifications, design processes, and testing results for future reference.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
- Strong understanding of embedded software principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Ability to travel occasionally to Gothenburg site
Preferred Experience
- Experience in the automotive industry with embedded software development.
- Familiarity with automotive software standards
- Knowledge of tools such as Simulink, Devops, and CarWeaver.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Interest in the Swedish automotive industry.
