UI/UX Design Teaching Internship – Empowering Growth Through Design & Creativity

We are seeking a UI/UX Design Teaching Intern who can combine the roles of educator and practitioner to help grow our design culture from the inside out.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who wants to sharpen their design leadership skills while also helping others grow through workshops, design reviews, and collaborative creative work.

As a UI/UX Design Teaching Intern, you'll lead internal training sessions focused on user interface design, user experience principles, accessibility, design systems, and design tools like Figma or other design tools.

You'll also collaborate with our product and dev teams on live design challenges, ensuring your teaching is directly tied to real-world impact.

You'll also help create and host external webinars and content to share design knowledge with a broader audience.

Teaching & Upskilling (50%)

• Organize and deliver internal workshops and lectures on UI/UX fundamentals, design thinking, wireframing, prototyping, accessibility, and usability testing.
• Create engaging design content for our internal teams: tutorials, templates, design critiques, and visual documentation.
• Host external webinars and contribute to public-facing content around design trends, tools, and user research insights.

Hands-on Design Work (50%)

• Collaborate on live product design tasks: wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flows.
• Support the team by auditing existing interfaces, improving usability, and evolving our design system.
• Participate in user testing sessions and analyze feedback to refine the user experience.
  

• Mentorship & Impact: Help shape the design maturity of our team while growing your own skills as a design leader and educator.
• Real-World Experience: Bridge theory and application by teaching and directly designing within live projects.
• Creative Collaboration: Work with developers, product leads, and fellow designers in a fast-moving, early-stage environment.
• Professional Growth: Build experience in design education, public speaking, and strategic UI/UX thinking.
