About the role: Senior Business Analyst - Modern Airline Retailing

The person in this role will have the opportunity to actively participate to the historic transformation of the Airline IT Industry toward customer-centricity. As a Business Analyst reporting to the Manager of Offer and Order Solutions Department, the person in this role will play a key role in the transition to Modern Airline Retailing. Responsibilities include designing flows for the target structure, monitoring industry standards, collaborating closely with IT and Business Units, conducting gap analysis between the end-state and the current structure, and coordinating efforts with other departments.

This position will be

Industry Awareness:

• Follow up on industry reports and summarize key insights relevant to the organization.

• Attend and actively participate in relevant IATA Work Groups, staying informed about industry developments.

• Attend international conferences to network, share knowledge, and stay abreast of industry standards

System Design and Documentation:

• Design and develop flows for the target structure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

• Document the working principles of various modules and create comprehensive user manuals for effective knowledge transfer.

• Create UML diagrams to visually represent flows and enhance the understanding of system processes.

Procurement and Collaboration:

• Prepare RFI/RFP documents aligning with Turkish Technology’s objectives for efficient procurement processes.

• Collaborate with IT and Business Units to contribute to gap analysis efforts, ensuring a smooth transition to new processes.

• Conduct partner meetings to foster collaboration and align strategies with external stakeholders.

Business Analysis and Communication:

• Identify meaningful trends and opportunities across the business, generate business analysis reports

• Conduct meetings to analyze business insights and user needs, convert them into product specifications

• Act as an information source and communicator between business users and IT to enhance services and products

Testing and Project Management:

• Design and build test cases, run and manage functional tests, and coordinate UAT process

• Have hands-on experience about project processes from RFI to RFP, to contract construction, to purchase order, to project management, to contract closing, to evaluation report.

• 5+ years in both the travel or retail industry and the technology sector, demonstrating the ability to thrive in a multi-faceted and fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrates advanced analytical skills, with a track record of collecting, organizing, and analyzing extensive data to derive meaningful insights.

• Ability to think strategically and develop tactical methods to achieve objectives and goals.

• Possesses a result-driven mindset and outstanding interpersonal skills, complemented by exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication abilities.

• Exhibits a strong analytical mind and advanced problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in large transformation projects is an asset.

• Proven track record in managing digital products within a complex technical environment.

• Demonstrates the capability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, external groups, and geographically dispersed resources in a collaborative environment.

• Hands-on experience with working web services.

• Hands-on experience in various analysis techniques, such as use case modeling, data analysis, process analysis, prioritization, requirement management, risk assessment, stakeholder analysis, responsibility analysis, and interface analysis.

• Intellectually curious; proactively identifies challenges and opportunities, staying up-to-date with current and planned technologies and customer trends.

• Result-driven, with a history of excellent customer relationship management, presentation skills, and interpersonal acumen.

• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 10% of the time, as required.

• Excellent command of the English language (speaking, listening, reading, writing).
