Industrial Laboratory Special Testing Division Manager

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Laboratory Special Testing Division Manager to lead our Special Testing Division. In this role, you'll manage advanced testing operations, guide a team of skilled professionals, and support R&D, production, and quality teams with high-level analytical and mechanical testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage daily operations of the Special Testing Division.
• Supervise a team of scientists, engineers, and lab technicians.
• Oversee and perform advanced testing methods including metallurgical, chemical, and mechanical analyses.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO/IEC 17025, ASTM, and company-specific protocols.
• Manage testing schedules, workloads, and project timelines.
• Maintain and troubleshoot specialized lab equipment (e.g., SEM, FTIR, ICP-MS, tensile testers).
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing.
• Analyze data, write technical reports, and present results to internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare for audits and maintain quality control procedures.
• Develop and manage the division budget, procurement, and vendor relationships.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or PhD preferred).
• 7+ years of industrial lab experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Deep knowledge of specialized and non-routine testing techniques.
• Proven track record managing teams, budgets, and complex technical projects.
• Familiarity with ISO 17025 or related quality standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
