Seeking Senior Java Developer having 6+ years for working on critical banking applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on technical expertise in Java, Spring, Hibernate, Linux, Shell Scripting, Oracle DB, MariaDB, and containerized deployments (JBoss, OpenShift), as well as with team leading capabilities , stakeholder engagement.

Seeking Senior Java Developer having 6+ years for working on critical banking applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on technical expertise in Java, Spring, Hibernate, Linux, Shell Scripting, Oracle DB, MariaDB, and containerized deployments (JBoss, OpenShift), as well as with team leading capabilities , stakeholder engagement.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring, Hibernate, Shell scripting, Linux, Oracle DB, and MariaDB.
- Working knowledge of Angular (optional but preferred).
- Experience with application servers (e.g., JBoss) and containerization platforms like OpenShift.
- Proven track record of leading Agile teams and managing delivery across geographically dispersed teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to drive discussions with senior stakeholders and resolve cross-functional challenges.
- Exposure to the banking or financial services domain is highly desirable.
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical oversight and mentorship to developers across multiple applications.
- Guide the team on best practices in Java (Spring, Hibernate), Linux scripting, and MariaDB/Oracle database development.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in production (BAU support).
- Ensure application stability and performance within containerized platforms like JBoss and OpenShift.
- Proactively remove blockers to ensure timely delivery of features and bug fixes.
- Lead and manage an offshore development team following Agile Scrum methodologies.
- Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Drive continuous improvement and foster a culture of collaboration and ownership.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders for backlog prioritization and sprint/release planning.
- Prepare and deliver regular updates to senior management on the status of ongoing initiatives across multiple applications.
- Track and report progress, risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
