FocusKPI is looking for aFrontend Developerto join one of our clients, a high-tech SaaS company.
As a Senior Frontend Developer with a UI/UX focus, you will drive frontend architecture and user experience for a high-impact business application. You'll play a crucial role in frontend foundations, UI/UX optimization, and performance enhancement for a sophisticated web platform. Your responsibilities include managing build systems, component libraries, and implementing user interface improvements that directly impact business operations. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver features that enhance user workflows and productivity. This role offers significant technical ownership, exposure to cutting-edge frontend technologies, and the opportunity to influence user experience across a widely used enterprise platform.
Work Location:Remote - anywhere in the US
Duration:12-monthcontract
Pay Range:$65/hr to $74/hr

Responsibilities
- Own and maintain frontend build infrastructure
- Develop and maintain shared component libraries and utility frameworks
- Analyze user interfaces and implement performance and usability improvements
- Design and build new frontend features with cross-functional teams
- Optimize web application performance for complex data workflows
- Collaborate with engineers on technical solutions
- Establish frontend development standards and architectural best practices
- 5+ years of frontend development experience with React and TypeScript
- Strong expertise in build tools and package management (Bazel, Webpack, npm/yarn)
- Proven experience designing and implementing component libraries and design systems
- Demonstrated UI/UX skills with the ability to work independently on interface improvements
- Experience with complex web applications and data visualization interfaces
- Background in enterprise software or business application development
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility
- Strong understanding of web performance optimization and accessibility standards
- Experience with customer support tools, CRM systems, or internal business applications
- Background in UX research, user testing, or design thinking methodologies
- Experience with theBazel build system
- Background in TypeScript advanced patterns and type safety practices
