Networking Specialist

This is 3-month contract opportunity with Benefits - Health, Dental & Vision (50% of premium is covered for contractor).

About the Role:

We are seeking an IoT Networking Specialist to support the integration of sensor hardware and data streams into smart building systems and digital twin platforms. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role that involves setting up secure networks, configuring IoT devices, and ensuring successful data transmission from a wide variety of equipment and environmental sensors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver IoT integration solutions
• Implement and troubleshoot secure network connections and protocols
• Interface with network and security teams to ensure compliance and best practices
• Connect and configure IoT/IIoT sensors (e.g., temperature, acoustic, vibration, humidity, CO₂) to cloud or local platforms
• Use protocols such as MTConnect and OPC UA to enable data flow into digital environments
• Document workflows and create guides for repeatable implementations
• Propose improvements to increase the scalability and usability of deployed solutions
