Our client is a leading name in the Irish gaming market, blending the innovation of a startup with over 40 years of operational expertise. We’re seeking an experienced Head of Frontend Development to lead and elevate our client's online brand’s user experience.

About the Role

As Head of Frontend Development, you’ll own the vision, design, and management of the frontend for our client's gaming platform. This role is pivotal, requiring prior experience building and managing frontend applications for online casinos. You’ll bring our client's frontend operations in-house, transforming the user experience and reducing dependency on third-party providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the frontend development of our client's online gaming platform, focusing on performance, UX, and security.
• Assess the feasibility of managing our client's frontend internally, potentially integrating with or transitioning from existing CMS platforms.
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including BI, Database, and Full Stack teams, to deliver a seamless, high-performance experience.

What We’re Looking For

• Essential: Proven experience leading frontend development for online casinos or high-traffic gaming platforms.
• Expertise in Vue.js/Nuxt.js, Node.js, HTML5, CSS, and modern JS frameworks.
• Strong understanding of performance optimization, security, and responsive UX design.
• Familiarity with code testing tools (Jest, Mocha), quality tools (eslint, prettier), and SOLID principles.
