We’re seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to join our dynamic and high-performing team. This role will focus on creating engaging and intuitive user interfaces for our cloud-native SaaS platform, targeted at purpose-driven organizations. You will collaborate closely with our talented back-end engineers, designers, and cross-functional teams to bring impactful digital solutions to life.

About the Role

As our Senior Front-End Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading the front-end development of our core products. You will work with modern frameworks, like React (preferred) or Angular, and help shape the user experience with a strong design-thinking approach. This role involves gathering and analysing user behaviour data to drive key UX improvements, ensuring we deliver a seamless, intuitive, and data-informed experience for our users.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop user-centric, high-quality front-end applications using React (or Angular), maintaining high standards for usability, performance, and accessibility.
• Collaborate closely with a strong team of back-end engineers to deliver integrated and cohesive solutions.
• Apply UX principles, with a design-thinking mindset, to create responsive, visually appealing, and intuitive user interfaces.
• Set up and manage analytics and instrumentation to gather insights on user behavior, identifying areas for UI and UX improvement.
• Actively contribute to building a culture of quality by writing testable, reusable, and scalable code; collaborate on BDD (Behavior Driven Development) and participate in test automation efforts.
• Work cross-functionally with Product Managers, Designers, and QA teams to support agile development and deliver customer-focused solutions.

Core Product

Our core product, Amplify, is an AWS-hosted ERP system incorporating payments, SSO, federated UI, video streaming, and more. Future initiatives include microservices, cloud-based analytics, data streaming, and AI-driven analysis. Key technologies include PHP, React, Docker, and various AWS services.

Requirements

• 6+ years in front-end development with a strong focus on React (preferred) or Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern web standards.
• A strong understanding of UX principles and design thinking methodologies to create engaging and user-friendly applications.
• Experience with gathering and analysing user behaviour metrics, using tools to support data-informed UX/UI decisions.
• Ability to work effectively with back-end engineers, as well as cross-functional teams, in an agile, collaborative environment.
