Key job responsibilities

• Build reusable JavaScript components in React for use in our product and across AWS
• Deliver new user interfaces by using engineering designs and concepts
• Work closely with our Senior Engineers and stakeholders to deliver quality features to our customers
• Collaborate with the rest of the team on improvements for existing features
• Contribute to the development lifecycle, from concept through planning and implementation

Basic Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields at time of application
• Strong interest in building web applications using current technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, CSS; while also familiar with JavaScript frameworks such as React and Redux
• Working with RESTful APIs and object-oriented programming is desired. Availability to complete a 6 to 12-month internship working full time week.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous technical internship(s)
• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
• Adept at handling ambiguous or undefined problems as well as ability to think abstractly
• Experience with distributed multi-tiered systems, data structures and algorithmic complexity.
