Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our expanding team in Ireland. The successful candidate will have a strong background and proven track record in DevOps technologies and strong experience in Information Security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Infrastructure & Automation: Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS, leveraging Ansible and Terraform for full Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementation.
• CI/CD Pipeline Development: Create, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and deployment, ensuring efficient and secure software releases.
• Security Integration in DevOps: Implement and automate security best practices throughout the development lifecycle, including automated security tests to ensure the codebase remains secure.
• Security Compliance & Standards: Lead the company's efforts to achieve and maintain compliance with security standards like SOC-2 and ISO27001, incorporating these into daily operations and workflows.
• Threat Intelligence & Monitoring: Utilize threat intelligence tools and automate monitoring to identify potential risks, respond to security threats proactively, and document response strategies.
• Incident Response: Own the incident response process, assessing threats, identifying vulnerabilities, and developing strategies to remediate risks, including DDoS protection and multi-factor authentication (MFA) enforcement.
• Platform Evolution: Continuously assess the current platform, proposing and executing improvements to scale the infrastructure and elevate security across all layers.
• Security Documentation & Processes: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for security policies, procedures, threat assessments, and incident response protocols, ensuring a streamlined, secure development environment.
• Leadership & Ownership: Work autonomously to deliver impactful changes, taking full ownership of both the DevOps and security roadmap, while hitting the ground running with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, with a strong focus on security practices.
• Deep expertise in AWS services, including hands-on experience designing, deploying, and maintaining secure cloud infrastructures.
• Strong experience with Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure automation and configuration management.
• In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and the ability to build and secure pipelines for rapid software delivery.
• Solid understanding of security standards such as SOC-2 and ISO27001, with practical experience implementing and maintaining compliance.
• Proven experience with threat intelligence tools, security automation, and managing incident response procedures.
• Demonstrated success in implementing DDoS protection, MFA, and other critical security measures.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and lead platform and security improvements.

Nice-to-Have:

• Hands-on experience with MongoDB management and optimization.
• Experience with security tools like WAFs, SIEM systems, and intrusion detection/prevention.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Security+, or CISSP.
