Project Assistant

Job Title: Project Coordinator

Length: 2 Month Contract (Potential for Extension)

Location: Brampton

Rate: $35-38/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the setup of new projects in Tango and use Power Apps to manage updates in coordination with project managers.
• Support the onboarding and tracking of a backlog of approximately 60 projects.
• Serve as a liaison between SAP and IT teams to ensure data integrity and system alignment.
• Collaborate with banner representatives, operations, and finance teams to support project execution.
• Generate insights using Power BI to support decision-making and project tracking.
• Work closely with the Capital Planning team to facilitate capital approval processes.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks and provide general support to the project management team as needed.

Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in project coordination, business analysis, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Experience with Power Apps and/or Tango is an asset.
• Familiarity with PowerBI is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across departments.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
• A collaborative team player with a strong attention to detail.
