Senior JavaScript / Node.js Engineer

Location: Hybrid/Remote options (Netherlands)

Salary: €5,800 – €7,200 per month (based on 40h/week)

A fast-moving product company based in the Netherlands is looking for a Senior JavaScript / Node.js Engineer to join their growing tech team. You’ll work on high-impact digital platforms used across Europe, with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and clean architecture.

You’ll play a key role in building back-end services using Node.js and TypeScript, collaborating with designers and product leads to shape modern, API-driven applications. This is a hands-on engineering role in a supportive, ambitious environment.

What You’ll Need:

- 5+ years in software engineering with strong Node.js experience

- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and cloud deployments

- Familiarity with testing, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflows

- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Bonus Points:

- Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Vue)

- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes

- Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

- Experience in scaling teams or platforms
