Senior Project Manager IT and Digitalisation

Urgent requirement for a Senior Project Manager IT and Digitalisation for a major financial institution based in Basel, Switzerland.

As Senior Project Manager IT and Digitalisation you are responsible for planning, managing, and executing complex IT and digitalization projects and provide excellent service to the bank's internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support large-scale software and transformational projects using your expertise in digital and IT infrastructure, project management, as well as your interpersonal skills
• Manage the implementation of technology solutions
• Coordinate business and technical teams with different areas of expertise
• Manage project communication, reporting, and stakeholder management in the Project Management Office (PMO) and at C-level

Requirements:

• Higher education (university / FH) in IT, Mathematics, Physics, Business Administration with an IT focus, or similar
• At least 10 years of experience at the IT-banking interface, either at a bank or a consulting firm
• Proven track record of managing projects related to digitalization, IT transformations, or IT infrastructure
• Interest and motivation in IT and related technologies, as well as the desire to stay up-to-date with industry trends and to grow your expertise
• Strong analytical skills and ability to simplify and communicate complex technical concepts both verbally and in writing
• Ability to work with various stakeholder and excellent interpersonal skills
