Application Development Expert

We are hiring for Application Development Expert for our client's project based at Assen, Netherlands – 2-3 days per week

Assignment:

• You will develop and maintain multiple Drupal web applications. Work is varied and performed within a Scrum team, alongside product owners and other developers. On-site presence (Assen, Zwolle, or The Hague) is required at least twice per week.

Background:

• High demand for Drupal expertise across government. OUR CLIENT hosts a large Drupal department (>60 specialists). The goal is continuous improvement of products/services.

Requirements:

• HBO degree (minimum), 3 years of Drupal experience (certified), and 3 years each of Nginx, PHP, MySQL experience.

Competencies:

• Communicative, customer-focused, precise, stress-resistant, team player, flexible, proactive, and improvement-driven.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Git/Linux, Symfony-style programming (Drupal 9), caching systems (Varnish/Redis), JavaScript (JQuery/React), CI/CD pipelines, accessibility standards, and technical/functional documentation writing.
