Purpose

The role of a Network Engineer in our organisation is to manage and support our networking and unified communications infrastructure for EMEA. This includes routers, SD-WAN, switches, firewalls, wireless networks, and enterprise voice and telephony systems.

How can you help us?

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of large-scale networking
• Maintain and optimise the network infrastructure and workload scheduling environment
• Conceptualise and implement network solutions such as international LAN/WLAN infrastructure
• Collaborate across teams to deliver efficient and reliable network solutions
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and reporting on network infrastructure
• Support the development and improvement of operational processes and best practices
  
  

Are you match?

• Relevant education and work experience in network engineering, with a successful track record of leading large-scale infrastructure projects
• Hands-on experience with TCP/UDP protocols and strong understanding of end-to-end packet flow
• Experience with VoIP and (IP) telephony systems (both SaaS and on-premises)
• Experience managing a CDN (preferably Cloudflare)
• Experience engaging with third-party vendors and ISPs.
• Strong network security skills, especially with Check Point firewalls
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform
• Familiarity with cloud-based networking, preferably Azure
• Understanding of Kubernetes networking fundamentals
• Fluent in English
• Willingness to travel in Europe (up to 40%)
