DevOps Specialist

We are looking for DevOps Engineer - Airline/ Travel Domain for Abu Dhabi Onsite Role.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in enterprise Java (J2EE) application development and support.
• Strong understanding of build and deployment practices in a J2EE environment using tools like Maven and Nexus.
• Experience working in Linux environments for deployment, configuration, and debugging
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Ansible, and SonarQube.
• Proficiency with Docker for containerization and deployment in modern application environments.
• Proficient in analyzing complex problems within multi-tier, distributed systems and breaking them down into manageable components.
• Experience using Java diagnostic tools for performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Skilled in debugging and troubleshooting issues in clustered environments.
• At least one team member should have deep expertise in Oracle databases, including performance profiling and tuning.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effectively interacting with developers, stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
• Ability to quickly learn and understand the business domain.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent, for system observability and troubleshooting.
• Capable of creating and maintaining technical documentation and communicating complex issues to diverse audiences.

Experience of Agile Experience of the following would be a plus:

• Scripting language for deployment (for issue analysis)
• Azure DevOps experience.
• Industry experience in the Airline or broader Travel sector.

Responsibilities / Deliverables

• Support software build process and deployments
• Troubleshooting issues
• Support and maintain software build processes and deployment workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, test, and production environments.
• Participate in the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and reliable delivery.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure system stability, proper version control, and deployment automation
