Skills/Experience:

• Degree in Computer Science or STEM based subjects from a top university.
• 4+ years experience as a Full Stack Python/React Developer (or similar).
• Experience with FastAPI is preferable.
• Proficiency in modern software development practices, including version control and agile development methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and information sharing.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for ongoing learning and a proactive attitude towards adopting new technologies.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, adaptable, and high-pressure environment, delivering results efficiently.

Role:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Python (backend) and React (frontend) to support data ingestion, transformation, and visualization pipelines critical to quant research and trading strategies.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists, quantitative researchers, and engineers to implement tools for data exploration, backtesting, and signal analysis, ensuring seamless integration between research and production environments.
• Optimize system performance and reliability by building efficient APIs, managing databases, and handling large-scale data workflows with a focus on robustness, security, and latency.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and codebase quality by writing clean, modular code, participating in code reviews, and advocating for best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, testing, and documentation.
