Work Type: 100% Remote, Monday-Friday, full-time hours

Job Description:

• GTT is seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer for a contract engagement with a leading Canadian bank.
• In this role, you will play a key part in designing intuitive, user-centric digital experiences across both the website and digital banking platforms.
• Working closely with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders, you will help shape the bank's evolving digital presence, ensuring it aligns with both business objectives and customer expectations.

Job Responsibilities:

• UI/UX Designer translates business and user requirements into wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes using Figma
• Design clean, modern, and accessible UI solutions for both marketing websites and digital banking interfaces
• Conduct and apply user research, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations to refine user experiences
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and stakeholders, to iterate on design concepts
• Apply and contribute to the organization's design system and visual identity standards
• Ensure a seamless and consistent experience across all platforms and devices
• Balance UX best practices with business goals and compliance considerations in the financial sector
  
  

• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing both UX strategy and UI execution
• Proficiency in Figma (must-have), with demonstrated experience creating design systems, prototypes, and visual specs
• Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), and user-centered design principles
• Prior experience designing for financial services, digital banking, or other complex, data-driven web applications
• Ability to conduct user research and translate insights into actionable design decisions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
