Backend Engineer (Golang)

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Golang to support key features of our AI products.
• Assist in designing and building APIs (RESTful and potentially GraphQL) to enable smooth communication between frontend and backend systems.
• Contribute to system architecture discussions, focusing on creating stable and scalable solutions.
• Work with large datasets and learn to optimize data processing in distributed systems.
• Collaborate with frontend and AI teams to support product development and iteration.
• Write clear, maintainable, and well-documented code under guidance.
• Participate in code reviews, learn from feedback, and contribute to team knowledge-sharing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (recent graduates welcome).
• Basic experience or academic projects in backend development, with exposure to Golang (coursework, internships, or personal projects acceptable).
• Familiarity with core programming concepts and willingness to learn microservices architecture or tools like gRPC or Kubernetes.
• Basic understanding of databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB) and an interest in optimization techniques.
• Curiosity about distributed systems, message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), or caching tools (e.g., Redis).
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) and conversational Mandarin Chinese to collaborate effectively with the team.
• Enthusiasm for technology, eagerness to learn, and ability to tackle challenges with a growth mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to AI or SaaS product development through projects or internships.
• Experience collaborating in team-based coding environments (e.g., hackathons, group projects, or open-source contributions).
