Job Description: DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between development and our AWS based infrastructure, ensuring the seamless integration of these two critical functions. Your role is pivotal in enhancing our software delivery processes and maintaining a reliable infrastructure. You will work at the intersection of technology, collaborating with development teams to streamline the deployment, delivery, and management of software products. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver high-quality software to our users efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure our AWS cloud based infrastructure is highly available, scalable, reliable, and runs efficiently.
• Assist in design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and pipelines for provisioning, deploying, and managing infrastructure and applications.
• Participate in our CI/CD efforts, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery pipelines for software releases.
• Collaborate with team members on the implementation of IaC tools like Terraform for managing infrastructure components.
• Support containerization efforts using Docker and assist in managing containers with orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to incorporate DevOps best practices into our development process.
• Contribute to maintaining security practices and measures throughout the infrastructure.
• Assist in the investigation and resolution of deployment, configuration, and system performance issues.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Proficiency in infrastructure provisioning tools like Terraform.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and a knack for collaboration.
