UI/UX Program Manager

Job Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for managements of all visual design elements, as well as all development aspects of the GUI design, function and usability of the entire user interaction and experience on seatback IFE (monitor and handset), connectivity portal and IFEC applications. You will also be responsible for all the operational and functional activities related to GUI development and customizations on current and upcoming QR fleet.

As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:

• Evaluate new and emerging methods and technologies in UI / UX across digital platforms and identify best practices in class to incorporate into QR's GUI design framework.
• Develop intuitive, user-friendly and visually appealing GUI for all seatback IFE platforms and IFEC mobile application.
• Create user flows for seatback IFE product and PED in line with latest trends in user experience principles across the industry including OTT providers so as to recommend and provide ease-of-use navigation and functionality for all age groups.
• Design GUI experiences which are brand-reflective and have continuity across all IFEC platforms and applications in alignment with QR brand strategy.
• Manage relevant stakeholder deliverables and responsibilities associated with GUI management across QR group with respect to multiple OEM suppliers and their system specific requirements.
• Develop multiple plans and scenarios for NB testing across all GUI design platforms.
• Ensure that all managers and supervisors understand work health and safety requirements and expectations to the extent that they can pass on relevant information, identify training needs and provide appropriate supervision in their workplace.

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 6 years of product development and design.
• Has the knowledge in IFE / connectivity systems experience either with an airline of IFE/C vendor.
• Possess deep understanding of multiple IFE systems for leading OEMs, and have prior experience in GUI development for aviation.
• Has the knowledge and development of UI, Web and applications – Linux and Android based.
• Excellent spoken and written English skills with good working understanding.
• Has managerial skills and is able to delegate work. Also is strong in mentoring, coaching, training, and developing.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the knowledge of media encoding, integration and content delivery.
