Front End Developer - Stockport - Hybrid

I’m working with a client who is looking for a Senior React Developer to join their growing team.

The company is a forward-thinking tech provider that supports mutual financial institutions. Their mission is to help these organisations thrive by giving them the tools they need to grow, compete, and stay true to their purpose.

They’ve recently rebuilt their platform to deliver a modern, scalable, and secure core system—enabling seamless integration. What You’ll Be Doing:

• Developing and maintaining high-quality front-end features using React
• Collaborating closely with back-end engineers, designers, and product teams
• Playing a key role in modernising and scaling their platform
• Contributing to technical decisions and mentoring junior developers

What They’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of commercial experience with React
• Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g. Redux, Zustand, or Context API)
• Familiarity with REST APIs and integrating front-end applications with back-end services
• Passion for clean, maintainable code and modern development practices
• Experience in the finance sector would be beneficial
