Senior Full-stack Developer

Strategic Staffing Solutions International’s client is a cutting-edge technology company and the world’s first purpose-built global clearing, agency, and transaction bank. By joining the company, your mission will be to build software that changes how customers interact with financial services, without the limits of legacy systems or outdated architectures. The role can be fully remote from any city in Lithuania.

As a Senior Full-Stack Developer, you will design, plan, develop, configure, document, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain software applications and services used across the company’s websites, portals, and business platforms.

You should have strong experience with the company’s current tech stack, which includes: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Express, MongoDB, REST APIs, JSON, OAuth2, API Gateways, and OKTA. Solid experience in building and integrating REST APIs is essential. You'll play a key role in developing the next generation of applications and tools for the banking and financial services sector.

What you will do:

• Design, develop and deploy applications in the cloud using modern technologies, such as JavaScript, Typescript, React, NextJS, Node.js, Express, MongoDB, REST APIs, JSON, OAUTH2, API Gateways, OKTA.
• Lead and help orchestrate effective Agile development
• Effective collaboration with team members to achieve shared goals
• Execute and promote development standards, including writing readable code, automated tests, and documentation
• Collaborate with other developers within the development teams to ensure best methods and techniques are used in development
• Guide and mentor more junior staff in proper techniques and solutions
• Leverage proficiently code repositories, code reviews, merge/pull requests review and approval
• Analyze technological trends and proposes formal recommendations for improvement when appropriate
• Keep job knowledge up to date by studying new development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal and professional networks, and participating in professional organizations.

What you will need:

• 5+ years working with server-side application development (Node.js)
• 5+ years working with front end technologies (JavaScript, React, NextJS)
• 8-10+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Familiarity with container technologies (Docker) and microservices architectures
• Proficiency in developing and deploying web applications in the cloud (AWS)
• Demonstrated ability to deliver product features to customers in a production environment
• Deep understanding of RESTful design principles and experience creating and consuming APIs
• Solid understanding of web security fundamentals
• Experience with revision control and CICD tools (Github and Github Actions).
• Excellent engineering approach including quality disciplines
• Firm understanding of standard SDLC, lean, and agile practices
• Good at coaching and improving team productivity
• BS or MS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree

Nice to have:

• Experience working with IDM platforms (Okta, Auth0)
