Python Engineer - ERP

Are you a python developer with a knack for problem solving and clean code? Do you get excited when your work saves your 100+ colleagues time and opens up new opportunities? We’re looking for a Python Engineer who can help us take our Odoo implementation to the next level.

Based in our Amsterdam office, you’ll be responsible for adjusting Odoo modules, implementing new functionalities and maintaining existing systems. As we’re adopting Odoo for more and more key processes there are plenty of challenging opportunities.

What you will be part of:

• You will join us as we’re looking to further roll out Odoo to all of our brands.
• You will work in a cross-functional team of highly skilled engineers that work together closely on optimising our internal processes.
• You will work with product owners and other key stakeholders to develop and optimize our Odoo modules for operational efficiency and innovation.
• You will be constantly looking to innovate in how we use Odoo and develop domain specific modules that drive our business forward.
  
  
  

Our Odoo instance integrates with technologies that scale globally, are open source and enable our team to deliver quality products. Our other main technologies are .NET 9, PostgreSQL and VueJS (Nuxt) and React Native. Our infrastructure relies on edge computing, CDN, serverless and Kubernetes for scalability, powered by AWS. Where necessary we leverage machine learning and AI to help solve business problems.

Your daily activities will include writing structured solid code, code reviewing, aligning with stakeholders from the business and innovating on new functionalities.

What we expect from you:

• You are ambitious and eager to create the best product possible to help us reach for the stars
• At least 5+ years experience in a similar position
• You have a desire to ‘do good’ and enjoy contributing to a better world by raising funds for charity through our products
• You are proactive, determined and enthusiastic. Humble most of the time, but proud of your achievements!
• Bachelor/Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent is an advantage
• Experience with Python
• Experience working with Odoo or affinity with another ERP

Our procedure consists of the following rounds:

• Introductory video call with our Talent Acquisition Manager (± 20 min)
• An introductory interview with Stephan, Head of Engineering (±30 min)
• In-office technical interview (± 60 min)
• A final interview with Kevin, our CTO (± 45-60 min)
  
  
  

Before the in-office interviews we request every candidate to complete a personality questionnaire, which gives us insight as to how your personality could add value to the team.
