Contract Type: Contractual (client-side engagement)

We are hiring a DevOps Engineer to work for one of our clients in Bioggio, Ticino. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a cloud transformation project while working in a dynamic, Linux-based DevOps environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Lead and support cloud migration initiatives, ensuring performance optimization and cost efficiency.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes, OpenShift, or ECS.
• Implement and maintain security protocols and ensure infrastructure compliance.
• Set up monitoring and logging systems (e.g., CloudWatch, Splunk, Dynatrace) for performance tracking and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure efficient delivery of cloud-native applications.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with Linux system administration (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Hands-on expertise in Terraform, Ansible, GitHub, and Linux-based components.
• Experience with cloud platforms (OCI preferred).
• Solid scripting abilities using Python or Bash.
• Good understanding of networking concepts such as firewalls, load balancers, and DNS.
• Knowledge of backup, computing, and Linux storage solutions.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools for monitoring, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred:

• Proven experience in cloud transformation or migration projects.
• Exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus.
