Project Manager - Software & Compliance

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Project Manager (IT/Software & Compliance) to drive projects that align with business, regulatory, and technical standards. This role is ideal for someone who excels in documentation, process mapping, project coordination, and auditing operational workflows, and who has a passion for ensuring that plans are both strategic and executable.

This individual will play a critical role in streamlining operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes in IT and compliance-focused initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination & Delivery:

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional Software and Compliance projects from planning to execution.
• Maintain and track project plans, schedules, deliverables, and milestones.
• Ensure project plans are logically structured, achievable, and aligned with business goals.
• Develop clear, concise documentation including process flows, procedures, and system diagrams.

Compliance & Risk:

• Ensure projects align with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Work closely with Compliance, Legal, and Security teams to identify and manage compliance-related tasks and audits.
• Maintain detailed documentation for compliance and auditing purposes.
• Facilitate periodic reviews of IT systems, processes, and data handling practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Develop and monitor controls to ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards.

Communication & Reporting:

• Serve as a liaison between technical teams, compliance officers, and business stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates and reports on project status, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership.
• Conduct post-project evaluations and implement lessons learned to improve future project execution.

Qualifications:

• At least3+ years of experience in IT/Software project management (mandatory).. Previous compliance experience is a nice plus.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile).
• Experience with compliance frameworks is a nice to have, but not mandatory.
• Proficiency with project management tools (we use JIRA)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

The role is available remote, but you must be located in Romania. Excellent english as you will be working in multiple stakeholders.
