We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Specialist to join a global software organization focused on delivering innovative software solutions for warehouse automation, conveyor and sortation systems, and large-scale distribution operations. With development teams distributed across North America and Europe, the role offers the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative, international environment.

The Cloud Security Specialist will be participating in the cybersecurity operations team, taking care of the security posture of the cloud environment, identifying abnormal activity, and responding to security incidents.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and Responding to Security Incidents: Continuously monitoring cloud environments for threats, investigating security incidents, and responding to security breaches. Collaborating with the SOC team.
  • Security Assessment and Auditing: Identifying vulnerabilities and weaknesses in cloud environments through assessments and audits.
  • Hardening the cloud: Improving security settings, applying vendor recommendations, participating in the evaluation of changes, and related risks.
  • Ensuring Compliance: Conducting regular security assessments, audits, and vulnerability management to ensure adherence to industry regulations and internal policies. Develop and maintain security documentation, procedures, and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or other related areas.
  • 5+ years of IT-related experience.
  • Solid knowledge of and commercial experience with GCP cloud.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity trends and industry.
  • Understanding of standard security practices, like incident management, vulnerability management, etc.
  • Experience in incident response.
  • Solid Network and Network Security knowledge.
  • Scripting skills are a plus.
  • Understanding of security best practices, tooling (such as SIEM, VM), and common standards.
  • Fluent English.

Certifications:

  • Cybersecurity certificates (e.g., CompTIA Security+/CySA+, BTL1/BTL2, CISSP, etc.) will be a big plus.
  • GCP certifications will be a big plus (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud Security Engineer).
