Job Description:

We are seeking a Product Designer with a passion for creating intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing B2C user experiences to add a needed dynamic to our B2B Saas design team. You'll play a key role in improving the look and feel of our customer-facing interfaces, with a focus on mobile-friendly and mobile-first interfaces. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their design career who's eager to learn, grow, and make a real impact.

You'll collaborate closely with product managers, product owners, developers, and other designers to bring ideas to life—from wireframes to polished UI. If you're curious, detail-oriented, and excited about designing for real users who may even be your family or neighbours, we'd love to meet you.

We want someone who's experienced and comfortable with managing multiple projects in a fast-paced high-growth environment, who thrives on being given ownership and great responsibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Own design projects from initiation through planning, requirements, implementation, and post-implementation reviews
  • Design strong, intuitive, elegant, and accessible interfaces for web and mobile applications supported through a test and learn process
  • Conduct user research and testing to gather insights and validate design decisions
  • Collaborate with product managers, product owners, developers, customers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and translate them into innovative design solutions
  • Create design specifications and pixel perfect designs with tools like Figma and work with developers to ensure that designs are technically feasible and implemented accurately
  • Present and communicate concepts, designs, and prototypes to cross-functional team members, customers and other stakeholders with clarity
  • Create wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts
  • Develop and maintain design guidelines and style guides to ensure consistency across all products
  • Use and expand/improving on our design system/components
  • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
  • Continuously iterate and improve designs based on user feedback and data-driven insights
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in design, UX, and technology to continually improve the user experience

Requirements and Skills:

  • Diploma or degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Software Engineering, or something similar
  • 2+ years of experience as a Product Designer, preferably in a B2C environment or with a B2B2C product line (Freelance / Co-op work welcomed). ECommerce experience is a plus
  • An understanding of design methodologies, conducting research and data analyses, prototyping, and stress and user testing
  • Some experience designing for mobile interfaces (responsive web included)
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
  • Interest in Graphic Design and visual storytelling is a plus
  • An understanding of working with Dev teams with a system such as Jira for work and task management is a plus
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from others
  • Strong communication skills to explain design decisions effectively and a user-first attitude

We Offer:

  • Competitive salary
  • Comprehensive health and dental benefits
  • Professional development opportunities
  • Continuing Education
  • Great colleagues and collaboration
