🖥️ We're Hiring: EDS Specialist (Smart 3D Administrator)

📍 Location: Office-based – Doha, Qatar

📅 Contract: 1 Year (Renewable)

⏱ Hours: 45 hours/week

💰 Rate: hourly rate

📁 Project: In-house Engineering Support

Are you an experienced Smart 3D (S3D) Administrator with a strong background in engineering design systems? We’re looking for a highly skilled EDS Specialist to support and enhance our in-house engineering tools and workflows.

🔍 Key Responsibilities:

Smart 3D setup, customization, and administration

Create and maintain project plant structures and engineering specification databases

Manage SP3D backups, review files, and system security

Customize pipe supports and drawing templates across disciplines

Handle clash management and reference data catalog maintenance

Interface with related tools: SPI, SPPID, SPEL, SPF, SPM, MicroStation, and Laser Scan Point Clouds

Ensure continuous operation and support of all Smart 3D and CAD software across disciplines

🛠 Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related engineering discipline

Experience: 12–15 years in Smart 3D administration, customization, and user support

Software Proficiency: Smart 3D (S3D), Navisworks, Aveva E3D, VB (.NET)

Technical Knowledge: SPP&ID, SPF, Oracle/SQL Server database management

Industry Background: Oil & gas, construction, or engineering projects
