Android Developer Java/Kotlin - Senior

What you will be doing?

• Mobile App Development: Design and develop Android applications, from concept to launch, ensuring a responsive, intuitive, and engaging user experience.
• Coding and Testing: Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and industry standards. Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure application stability and performance.
• Feature Implementation: Implement new features, functionalities, and enhancements in collaboration with product managers, designers, and other team members.
• Optimization and Performance: Optimize application performance, improving speed, responsiveness, and efficiency. Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs to enhance overall user experience.
• Platform Adaptation: Stay updated on the latest Android platform trends, technologies, and best practices to incorporate into development processes.
• Documentation and Maintenance: Document code, technical specifications, and project updates. Provide maintenance and support for existing applications, including troubleshooting and bug fixing.
• Assist with the rebuild of the application to a modernized tech stack
• Engage in projects to develop new features & functionality for the application

Your skills

• 3 + years experience as an Android Developer with a strong portfolio of Android applications developed and deployed on the Play Store.
• Strong skills in Kotlin programming languages and familiarity with Android SDK, Android Studio (Device Manager), and related development tools.
• Experience or exposure in: Android Launch mode, Device Manager or real time video applications is Highly Desirable but not essential
• Understanding of mobile app architecture, UI/UX principles, Jetpack Compose and design patterns (MVP, MVVM).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
