Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of a broad range of ICT systems such as Networking, Cloud, Windows OS, virtualisation, databases, firewall, storage etc, and how they relate and inter-operate
- Proven ability in designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current environments
- Proven ability installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi and other network related equipment
- Experience in optimising network performance through ongoing monitoring, troubleshooting and continued service improvements
- Ability to provide advice and experience on the technical specifics, known issues, and possible pitfalls within the technologies of which you have a detailed level working knowledge
- Understanding and experience of avenues of technical escalation with technologies within a company, partner, or vendor ecosystem
- Effective time, workload, and priority management
- Ability to stick to scope of engagement
- Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
- Strong written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- ITIL foundational certification
- Network or vendor certifications strongly desired
- Maintain vendor certifications in relevant technical or security areas
- Must currently hold or be eligible to achieve an Australian Government Security Clearance – minimum Baseline
- Must be an Australian citizen
- May be required to use own car
- May be required to provide on-call support for operational focused roles
- Will be required to work outside of normal business hours with appropriate overtime or time off in lieu allowances in place
