Data Scientist

Job Summary: My Client within the energy sector in Groningen are seeking a skilled Data Scientist with expertise in machine learning to analyze complex datasets and develop predictive models that drive decision-making across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights related to energy production, consumption, and efficiency.
• Develop, implement, and validate machine learning models for predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation for processes, models, and analyses.
• Contribute to the design and development of data pipelines and data architectures.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on machine learning applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and data analysis techniques.
• Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
