A snapshot of your key responsibilities as Senior Frontend Developer would be:
- Modernising existing presentation layers (JSPs) into modern, responsive React.js UIs
- Working closely with internal development teams to ensure smooth integration and agile delivery
- Supporting skills transfer and mentoring within the team
- Optimising web solutions for mobile and screen responsiveness
- Ensuring accessibility and standards compliance across all front-end deliverables
- 7+ years' experience in front-end development (mandatory for this senior role)
- Expert-level proficiency in React.js, including workflows such as Redux and Flux
- Strong experience with Material UI (MUI), JSX syntax, Babel, Node (+ NPM), and Webpack
- Skilled in Frontend Unit Testing and use of Azure DevOps for code and pipeline management
- Excellent knowledge of JavaScript (+ ES6), CSS, HTML, and MVC frameworks
- Experience integrating with back-end systems using Java 8+, microservices, and Spring Boot (v2.6)
- Familiarity with web accessibility standards and website analysis tools (e.g., Google Lighthouse)
- Proven delivery experience in Agile environments
- Experience in hybrid working environments
- Familiarity with public sector systems or large-scale enterprise applications
- Must be fluent in English
- If not a native speaker, C2-level certification under the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required
- No formal qualifications or driving licence required for this role
- Must be available from 25th August 2025
